Let’s explain Europe.

The Jean Monnet Association invites you to participate in its educational activities that can be adapted to a wide audience thanks to the modularity of their format: high school students, Apprentices, Grandes Ecoles students, young people from local missions or young people in difficulty.

The aim of these educational activities is to inform and educate young people about European citizenship issues.

Two formats are available:

  • Lecture + guided tour (duration: 2h30 to 3h)
    • Conference of 1h30 (biography of Jean Monnet and his role in the construction of Europe)
    • Questions and answers with the room (30 minutes)
    • Guided tour of the Jean Monnet House (15 minutes)
    • Documentary film about Jean Monnet (12 minutes)
    • Debriefing: questions and answers with the room (10 minutes)
  • Creative workshop on the rights of the European citizen and / or the overall functioning of the European Union (duration: 2h30 to 3h)
    Concept: By group of 3 or 5 people, the young people appropriate the given theme to make an original and playful oral presentation.

    • Introductory presentation on the definition of the European Union
    • 4 working times of 30 minutes each
    • Guided tour of the Jean Monnet House (15 minutes)
    • Documentary film about Jean Monnet (12 minutes)

Dates: to be defined between September and July.

Rate:

Ile-de-France Region: can be supported by a subsidy from the Regional Council of Ile-de-France for the Ile-de-France establishments.

Other regions : rates on request.

Note: Transport of students to the Jean Monnet House is the responsibility of the institutions / structures.
